"And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the LORD your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul."
It really doesn't seem that I have been doing this Only God study for ten weeks because the time went by so fast for me as I was doing this study. The whole point of this study was to look at what we could declare, "Only God!" in our lives and in the world. The points that I looked at in this study are:
God is the only God
Only God is our Provider
Only God is Creator
Only God is both God and human
Only God is our Savior
Only God can make us new
Only God is our Healer
Only God is Holy
Only God is Just
Each one of these points could be explored in much greater depth and I would encourage you to do so. Any time we seek to know God more, we will be blessed. God is the greatest treasure! There are so many other points we could declare, "Only God," such as only God is truly wise, only God is all powerful, only God truly loves. Oh, this list could go on and on! The point is that God is amazing, awesome, and beyond what we can truly express and our response should be one of incredible respect. We should also desire to do what pleases Him (which He plants in our hearts) and we should love and serve Him with all that we are.
I hope that if you followed along throughout this study, you have been as blessed as I have! I believe that the more we know about God, the more we are amazed by His love for us. Don't let this knowledge of God just stay in your head; ask yourself what God wants you to do with the knowledge He gave you.
