Memory Verses

I am starting 2013 with another commitment to memorize scripture.  Once again, I will be memorizing two scriptures a month for a total of 24 verses by the end of the year.  I will update this list as I add new verses:

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NLT):  Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Isaiah 43:16,18-19 (NLT):  "I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea...But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?I will make a pathway through the wilderness.  I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT):  "However, as it is written: 'What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived' - the things God has prepared for those who love Him."

Proverbs 3:24 (NLT):  "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."

Titus 3:4-7 (NIV):  "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."

Hebrews 3:13-14 (NIV):  "But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called 'Today,' so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end."
